The Minister of Culture Monica Babuc had a meeting, on July 13, 2016, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Zdeněk Krejčí.
The Officials discussed about perspectives of cooperation in the culture field between those two states, being approached a lot of subjects including the Czech Republic's experience in training specialists in the culture field, exchange of information concerning the development of actions and common cultural projects, important international cultural events, as well as facilitating reciprocal participation of artistic collectives and representatives to these events.
The Minister of Culture Monica Babuc emphasized the necessity to continue the Moldovan-Czech cultural projects and launching new period in bilateral relations through intensifying cultural dialogue, showing her interest for cooperation both in cinematography field and cinematographic co-productions. The Official launched an invitation of her Czech counterpart to visit the Republic of Moldova in a convenient period to both parties.
In his turn, H.E. Zdeněk Krejčí remarked the richness of cultural values and traditions of our country, highly appreciating the objectives and actions undertaken, lately, by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova in order to capitalize the national cultural thesaurus.
During the talks, the Officials showed their mutual willingness to expand cooperation in the culture field, mentioning the necessity of signing a new agreement on culture domain between those two countries relevant institutions, fact that would intensify the implementation of concrete actions to support projects in various cultural fields.
