Deputy Minister of Culture Igor Șarov in a visit at Vienna

During the period of 27th till 30th of July 2015, Deputy Minister of Culture Igor Șarov had a working visit in Vienna, Austria at the invitation of Waagner-Biro company representatives. The dignitary was accompanied by the official delegation from The Republic of Moldova.

 

The purpose of the visit was to finalize the rehabilitation of cultural establishments from Chisinau, a project that occurs as a result of the official visit in Moldova of the President of Austria Heinz Fischer, which took place on 16-17 November, 2014. Igor Șarov appreciated the effort of companies from Austria that contribute to provide modern technical equipment of cultural institutions in our country.

 

During the visit, the Moldovan delegation visited Waagner-Biro company and its partners, the representatives presented the most successful projects, including both the most modern musical theater that is in Linz and known State Opera from Vienna, the last example being a clear model of integration of the most advanced technology into a classic architectural complex. Also, the delegation had visited the plant of mechanisms scene manufacturing from Gleisdorf, where they could saw an overview of all phases of production.

 

 

The project involves the contracting of a loan (interest rate 0%) provided by ERSTE Bank and it is offered to equip with modern technical equipment (lights, sound, technical installations etc.) of institutions that are subordinated to Ministry of Culture, for example National Philharmonic "Sergei Lunchevici", National Theatre "Mihai Eminescu", National Theatre of Opera and Ballet "Maria Bieșu" and State Russian Drama Theatre "A.P. Cehov ". The institutions that were mentioned above have a major importance in our national culture and require a technical rehabilitation that would change in better the quality of performances image.

 

As a result of the project implementation, the culture field will have the performances halls that will be equipped to standards that will allow the performances at the international level. Thus, will be made economies in state budget for cultural activities that will be publicly financed and from the increase of payment for rent of performances halls, institutions will increase the revenues.

 

We note that Deputy Culture Minister Igor Șarov has launched an invitation in Moldova on 20 August, to Waagner-Biro company representatives to continue collaboration towards project implementation.
