CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund – the main partner at the International Music Festival „Mărţişor”-2016

At the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac” from Chișinău took place on March 10, 2016, a concert of theState Academic Russian FolkChoirPyatnitsky” from Russia that was presented at the jubilee edition of the International Music Festival „Mărţişor”-2016. The event was held thanks to the partnership between Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund – the main partner at the Festival jubilee edition in this year.

 

At the beginning of the concert, Minister of Culture Monica Babuc had a congratulation message for the artists that evolve in the most important cultural event from the Republic of Moldova, noting that the Festival gathered during those 50ty years the most notorious names from the international and national scenes. The official thanked for the support of CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund in organization of the Festival jubilee edition, as well as 2011-2013 editions.

 

In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova Farit Muhametşin, expressed conviction that the International Music Festival „Mărţişor” will exist many years before, and Russian artists will respond at the invitations to perform in this prestigious cultural event. Russian dignitary had read the congratulation message of the executive director of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund, Anatolii Icsanov, it was addressed to the Minister of Culture of the Republic, Monica Babuc, and it was noted the Festival unfolding importance aiming to promote both true artistic and cultural values.

 

CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund financially contributed to the development of this year edition of the International Music Festival "Martișor" with the amount of 500 thousand lei.

 

The Festival jubilee edition was remarked through music gender diversity played by the great musicians of the time. In the musical performances evolved artists of the Lundstreem Orchestra, Dmitri Klevenski, Jazz Orchestra of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, Alex Calancea Band and others. Classic music was represented by Natalia Gavrilan (Italy), baritone Azamat Jeltârguzov (Kazahstan), virtuoso pianists Eduard Kunz (Russia) and Tomoko Siromoto (Japan). Symphonic concerts were presented by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic „Serghei Lunchevici” and National Chamber Orchestra of the Organ Hall. Also, evolved the well-known State Academic Russian Folk ChoirPyatnitsky” from Russia and Jiangsu Women's National Orchestra from China. Music lovers had the opportunity to meet the notorious interpreters such as Soso Pavliaşvili, Ștefan Bănică Junior and members of 3 Sud Est Band. Traditionally, at the Festival evolve the well-known autochthon artistic collective: National Academic Folk Dance Ensemble „Joc”, National Folk Music Orchestra “Lăutarii”, National Folk Dance and Songs EnsembleFluieraş”, Folk Music Orchestras “Mugurel” and “Folclor”, as well as National Chamber Choir, Choir Chapel "Doina", Orchestra of the National Public CompanyTeleradio-Moldova”, Ensemble “Concertino-Band” and others.

 

During the Festival took place 45 concerts, 17 there were organized in 13 districts of the country. At the event participated artist from 11 countries.

 

The closure of the Festival will take place today, on March 11, with a concert played by the Valy Boghean Band, at the National Palace „Nicolae Sulac” from Chișinău.
